What is patio glazing?
Patio glazing is a retractable glass wall system that encloses a patio, porch, deck, or balcony. Frameless tempered glass panels slide along slim top and bottom tracks and stack to one side, so the space can be fully open in summer and fully sheltered in winter.
Is a Lumon glass enclosure the same as a sunroom?
No. A sunroom is a sealed, insulated addition with permanent walls. Lumon glazing is an unheated, non-insulated enclosure that opens completely. It extends the usable patio season and protects the space from weather, but it is not a conditioned room.
Does it work through a Wisconsin winter?
Yes. The system is designed for northern climates and is used extensively in Finland, where Lumon originated. Panels close against wind, rain, and snow, keeping the patio dry and dramatically cutting wind chill so the space stays usable far later into the season.
How do you clean the glass?
